Received a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University in March 2008
and a Master’s degree and a Doctor of Science degree from the Graduate School of Advanced Science and
Engineering, Waseda University in March 2010 and March 2013, respectively. During this time, he served as
Research Fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from April 2011 to March 2013 and as Visiting
Researcher at the Department of Psychiatry, UCLA for one year from October 2011. He was Research Associate
at the School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University (April 2013 – March 2014), Assistant
Professor at the same school (April 2014 – March 2015), and Visiting Researcher at the Graduate School of Science,
The University of Tokyo (September 2013 – March 2015). He has been Assistant Professor at Waseda Institute for
Advanced Study since April 2015.
