Carsten Dose has been the managing director of the Freiburg Insitute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) since its foundation in April 2008. Before joining the University of Freiburg, Dose worked for the German Council of Science and Humanities. He has studied sociology at Frankfurt University. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he was a member of a DFG/GRC-research training group focusing on science and technology studies from a social sciences perspective. |
