Graduated from the Faculty of Letters of Keio University in March 2003, and completed the Master’s course in
March 2005 and the Doctoral Program in March 2010 at the Graduate School of Letters of the same university.
He has served as Assistant Professor in the Global COE Centre for Advanced Research on Logic and Sensibility,
Keio University (April 2010 – March 2012), and as postdoctoral fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of
Science (Kyoto University) (April 2012 – March 2015). Since April 2015, he has been appointed as the Assistant
Professor at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Study.
