Suzana Pasternak
Suzana Pasternak graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie University and in Public Health from USP. She specialized in Urban Planning at Université Paris-Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and in public health at USP, where she also earned a master’ s degree and a doctorate in the area. Pasternak has a post-doctoral degree in City and Regional Planning from the Penn Institute for Urban Research, IUR (United States). She is currently a full professor in the Department of History of Architecture and Project Aesthetics at USP’s School of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU), and member of the editorial board of Cadernos Metrópole, a scientific journal published by the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). She has experience in urban and regional planning, with emphasis on issues pertaining to slums, public housing and urban studies. |
