Marius Müller
Marius Müller is a Post-Doctoral-Researcher at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo, financed by the CNPq fellowship program "Ciência sem Fronteiras". He is a trained marine biogeochemist who received his PhD in 2009 from the University of Kiel (Germany) and subsequently realised research projects at the Laboratory for Oceanography in Villefranche-sur-mer (France) and at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies in Hobart (Australia). His broad research interest embraces the role of marine microbes in the Earth’s system ranging from the geological past to the projected future (climate change). Currently, his work is mainly focused on the evolution of biomineralization in marine phytoplankton and the impact of ocean acidification on marine organisms. |
